Often misspelled and mispronounced, Ogunquit (Algonquit, Ogonquit) is the friendly little beach and artist colony that hovers on the southern coast of Maine. Ogunquit features one of the top rated beaches in the USA, and a picturesque walk called the Marginal Way. Ogunquit is only 4 square miles. There are two main sections, the village and Perkins Cove. Most gay nightlife, B&Bs and Inns are located in the village. The main beach, Marginal Way are also in the village.
