
The weather in Maine is quite dramatic, it changes rapidly, and therefore it does rain occasionally. The good thing about the rain is that it does not last long. Here is a quick list of things to do.

Ogunquit is home to the world’s most beautiful museum, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, located at 543 Shore Road. This museum is devoted to American artists and Ogunquit Artists. There is a permanent collection of over 1600 artists with collections from Edward Hopper, Alexander Calder, Roy Lichtenstein, Marsden Hartley and more!
The Levitt Theatre is an old fashioned movie house in Ogunquit Village on Main Street. This theatre has first run films. On rainy days there are matinees in the afternoon. Nightly shows at 8pm.

While visiting Ogunquit, Maine, a must see is the beautiful Ogunquit Memorial Library, located at 166 Shore Road, and on the National Register of Historic Places. Open every day in summer except Sunday. Closed for lunch 12-2. The Library is a charming stone structure, and is worth seeing. The sitting rooms are cosy and charming!
You are on vacation! The bars are usually open early in Ogunquit! Start at Maine Street bar, go to Frills on Shore Road and end at the Front Porch Piano Bar!
