Club InsideOUT new owner John Jackman told Gay Ogunquit that he plans to have the grand Re-opening for Club InsideOUT on Friday, April 14th. Jackman of South Side Pizza Boi purchased the business from Wayne Westcott, who is the new owner of the Front Porch Piano Bar and Cafe.

Jackman (pictured at right, sitting), originally from Manchester, NH, is a long time seasonal resident of Ogunquit. He has spent the past 14 years summering here and last year opened South Side Pizza Boi. "I have been looking for a bigger venue, and Club InsideOUT just sort of happened."
Club InsideOUT will continue to host the Mr Ogunquit Speedo Competition on the beach Labor Day weekend as well as other entertainment acts. Jackman's partner George Veilluex (pictured at right, standing) is a chef and will take over the food at the Rooftop Cafe, which is just next to the swank Martini bar. According to Jackman the Cafe will continue to offer the same menu and same high quality food at affordable prices, and the disco will continue spin high NRG music.

Jackman went on to say that the "Club" is an institution in Ogunquit as well as in northern New England. "Its been around for 27 years and its been recently remodeled, I don't think you can find as sophisticated a complex outside of NYC; granted its not as big as some the city venues."
The Rooftop cafe will be serving food until 12:45 am on weekends and during the summer according to Jackman, "The bar closes at 1 am. This is New England, and just like our neighbors to the south, Provincetown, everything closes at 1am." Resident DJ is DJ James with several guest DJ's performing.
